Who decides what we publish
AI Capital Wire is independently owned and edited. Lucas Gil Gonzalez makes every editorial decision. No advertiser, affiliate partner, company or investor has any say over what we cover or what we conclude.
Sourcing
We prefer primary sources: company filings, earnings calls and transcripts, regulator and central bank publications, official trade and customs data, and named on-the-record interviews. Where we rely on a third-party estimate — a broker forecast, a research house number — we name the source and the date, so you can judge it yourself.
We do not publish claims we cannot attribute. Where a fact is contested, we say who disputes it. Where we are speculating, we label it as analysis rather than fact.
Analysis versus fact
Much of what we publish is interpretation: what a policy change means for a supply chain, which companies are exposed, what a valuation implies. That is opinion, and it is signposted as such. Every investment thesis on this site is published with the case against it, because an argument you cannot falsify is not analysis.
Accuracy and review
Figures are checked against the original document before publication. Prices, market caps and multiples are stamped with the date they were taken. Articles that depend on fast-moving data carry an update date when they are revised.
Corrections
We correct errors openly. A material error — a wrong number, a misattributed quote, a mistaken claim about a company — is fixed in the article and noted at the foot of it with the date and what changed. We do not silently delete or rewrite published claims. Trivial fixes such as typos are made without a note.
Every material correction is also published in our public corrections log, permanently. Report an error to giladvisory@proton.me with the article link and the specific claim.
Conflicts of interest
Our author may hold positions in securities we write about. Where a holding is material to an article, it is disclosed inside that article. We do not accept payment, equity or any other consideration in exchange for covering a company, and we do not trade against a position we have just published on.
Advertising and affiliates
The site is funded by display advertising and, occasionally, affiliate commissions on tools we review. Ad placement is automated and advertisers receive no advance sight of editorial. Any article containing affiliate links discloses it at the top. The full commercial position is set out in our disclaimer.
Use of AI
Research, drafting and editing are done by a human. We use software for data collection and for checking prose, but every published article is read, verified and signed off by Lucas Gil Gonzalez. We do not publish machine-generated text unreviewed, and we do not publish articles with no named author.
Independence from sources
We accept no paid travel, gifts or hospitality from companies we cover. Briefings from companies are treated as claims to be checked, not as facts.
What we are not
AI Capital Wire is journalism, not advice. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, we do not know your circumstances, and nothing we publish is a personal recommendation. See the disclaimer for the full risk warning.
